Item Description

Gorgeous set of lustrous, deep-green, VERY LUSTROUS Malachite crystals nestled in a pocket of very fine Cobaltian Calcite crystals. The blocky and sharp 1 cm Malachites against the rich pink make an exquisite combination. Primary malachite, that has formed on its own chemical bonds and not without subverting and replacing a previous fine azurite crystal, is rare in this magnitude. This is a VERY robust primary malachite crystal with unusually developed termination, that should be considered highly important...and a fine companion to the Kaokoveld piece above. However, the combination of green primary malachite o pink drusy calcites...this I have not seen! It is a spectacular contrast. Valued $750
