Item Description

A hard to find association piece from the Copper Queen mine in Inyo County, California. The gossan matrix hosts beautiful forest to emerald green color Malachite which is coated by a thin layer of rich blue Chrysocolla and a sparkling layer of Quartz crytals on the top. The piece is sprinkled with small brownish-black spots of Tenorite as wel. I've photographed the piece under the microscope to show the quality. The piece comes from Harold Urish's collection, who obtained the piece in 2000 from Steve Perry. Steve's original label accompanies the piece.
