Manganoan calcite scalenohedrons of this sharp quality are rare from the famous Broken Hill deposit. Stout, variably-sized, sharply terminated, translucent, pastel-pink dogtooth crystals have frosted faces and are aesthetically clustered on the matrix plate. This exceptional and uncommon 360-degree specimen is nearly pristine, with only a gently bruised edge to the large crystal and is certainly only a modest detraction. A classic and rare style Broken Hill manganoan calcite with NEON ORANGE fluorescence.
