Item Description
Gemmy and lustrous, vivid lavender manganoan vesuvianite specimens are highly coveted from the famous and now-closed Jeffrey Mine. The mounded field of scintillating crystals is dominated by the imposing 1.0 cm crystal. Valued $500-750. Such purely purple pieces with ANY size of crystal showing, are very rare from this now closed mine. This is, to me, the most desirable color as it appears nowhere else.
