Item Description

This is a really attractive piece of the hard to find Marcasites from the Cacilia Mine. Sharp, semi-lustrous, metallic, soft golden colored crystals are coating a slab of Quartz matrix. Good quality all around, and desirable on the market, as they are seldom available. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6338). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
