Item Description
A remarkable and classic, LARGE CABINET, specimen of rosettes of lustrous, brassy, marcasite blades. The sculptural rosettes rest on limestone matrix. Old-time and excellent material from the Tri-State District. Ex Mullane Collection, dating from the 1960s or 70s, or possibly much older. Fine, robust examples of this classic are hard to come by today, and many have decayed from being stored in high-humidity environs. This one, though, is remarkably intact. Impressive!
