Item Description

A VERY hard to find specimen from Wymore, Nebraska featuring a beautiful "spray" of milky, prismatic, hexagonal crystals of Quartz which are associated with minor Calcite, lining the inside of a geode that was broken to the expose the crystals inside. This is the ONLY specimen of Quartz from Wymore that we've seen, and I'm sure it would make a great addition to any Quartz collection, or a possibly a suite of minerals from Nebraska. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7288). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
