Millerite

A magnificent and rather large plate of this rare millerite discovery. Millerite is a rare nickel mineral and specimens almost never get large. This find in Canada was considered the world's best modern find of the species at the time; although specimens have since dried up and we rarely see them for sale. This is a huge, glittering, sparkling plate of incredible quality for what it is - a miracle of survival. Most specimens are 1-3 inches. I cannot recall the last time I saw one for sale.
