Item Description

A cool association specimen from the type locality for the rare cobalt nickel sulfide, Siegenite. This piece primarily features, bright metallic "needles" of golden Millerite measuring to a few mm, associated with grey-black Siegenite, plus minor brassy Chalcopyrite. The Millerites measure up to about 5 mm, and are beautiful up close, with pristine, delicate formations. It's not common to find both species together from Müsen, so if you collect sulfides, rarities or minerals from the type locality, this is a good piece to add to your collection.
