Item Description

Glassy, gemmy to translucent, rich straw-yellow hexagonal mimetite prisms, to about 8 mm are strikingly festooned on the matrix plate on this showy, excellent and rich example from the 2003 finds at this well-known mine. The tips are gemmy and some are hoppered, adding pizzazz. Once fairly common, no more have come forth in recent years. Very fine and rich material from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 572.
