Item Description

Sparkling, gemmy golden-yellow, hexagonal mimetite barrels, to 6 mm, are festooned to richly peppered on the sculptural large quartz matrix. These caused quite a stir in the mineral market after they were collected in 1998-99. No more have been recovered since then. Dr. Bedogne, 1942-2012, was a well-known Italian mineralogist, prolific author, field collector and collector.
