Mimetite w/ Wulfenite (2013 find)

Sparkly, translucent, sugary, rich orange, elongated mimetite botryoids are attractively festooned on two sides of the sturdy sculptural sulfide matrix on this very showy small cabinet from the limited 2013 finds at famed Mina Ojuela. The mimetites reach about 1.3 cm on this multi-generational piece. A few glassy, wulfenite prisms, to 5 mm, along an edge are a fine and typical accessory. Pristine and the piece displays well without aid. Excellent material for the find.
