Item Description

Mimetite with wulfenite specimens are exceptionally rare from this obscure San Luis Potosi locale. Translucent botryoids of lustrous, pretty apple-green mimetite are accented with sharp, highly lustrous, butterscotch-colored, pseudocubic, wulfenite crystals to 5 mm on both sides of this showy, vuggy specimen. VERY rich ore, as the vuggy matrix is composed 100% of spherical clusters of tiny, hexagonal, acicular, mimetite crystals! 352 grams. Rare older combination material from the Robert Whitmore Collection.
