Item Description

This is a lovely and uniquely colored Aquamarine from Nigeria. These are marketed as "Mint Aqua", and the stone is predominantly green - albeit pastel - in color, but there is a slight bluish overtone,. We had some of these gems about 20 years ago, and we were told they had a trace amount of vanadium that caused the green color. The stone has a "Step Pear" cut with nearly eye clean clarity. This is not your "run of the mill" Aqua gem, and would make a great addition to any gem collection or as the center stone in a pendant.
