Item Description

An extremely rare and old combination piece from this small mine worked for molybdenite in about 1905. Splendent, silvery-bright, molybdenite crystals to 1.5 cm are scattered on both sides of the albite matrix along with an unknown mineral. The real SURPRISE on this piece are the three partial crystals of hexagonal, blue-green aquamarine crystals! They have good color and are gemmy and lustrous. The most complete pencil is 1.0 cm long. This combination specimen is perhaps UNIQUE to the locale. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
