Item Description
Bright pink needles of montmorillonite clay are richly and strikingly included in a sharply terminated, partially transparent quartz crystal from this renowned locale. The quartz is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with just a bit of termination edge wear. The faces may be lightly buffed. This is a rare and excellent combination specimen from the White Queen Mine. Old material from San Diego, circa 1950s-70s. Ex Ed Bancroft Collection.
