Item Description
Morganites are much rarer, than the gorgeous "hot pink" tourmalines, that were found at San Diego County's famous Stewart Mine. This is an aethetic parallel-growth miniature cluster of both blocky and tabular crystals. The pretty pastel-pink crystals have typically frosted edge faces. The two C-axis faces on either side are water-clear and reveal the excellent interior gemminess of the crystals. The tiny 5 mm pink tourmaline on side side and scattered purple lepidolites are super accessories to this complete all-around and pristine cluster of sharp, hexagonal crystals. Outstanding old material from the 1960s with multiple display views. Mass is 52 grams. Valued at $2000. Seldom on the market in this quality.
