Mottramite on Calcite (ex Whitmore Coll.)

Item Description

Sparkling, pretty apple-green, mottramite microcrystals preferentially and richly cover this showy mound of lustrous, translucent, calcite rhombs from Tsumeb. The capstone rhomb is 2.9 cm on the diagonal. A bit of edge wear and periphery wear is noted, but is only a modest detraction to this striking and colorful, 360 degree combination specimen from this renowned and closed locale.
