Item Description

A cool thumbnail sized set of native Arsenic specimens from the famous Marienberg area in Germany. Each specimen is a somewhat rounded "nodule" and resembles the material known as "Scherbenkobalt" in German. These are RARE on the market and certainly worth picking up if you collect German minerals or native elements. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#3214) along with a label from the Pearse Collection of Harvard University. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
