A showy and rare crystallized mass of solid platy native bismuth from a classic Australian locale in Queensland. luster ranges from absolutely splendent to nearly matte and there are nifty flashes of reddish-silver. The sharply angles faces reflect negative casts of prior quartz. Hefty for its size at 268 grams. This piece shows unusually well-formed "casts" of the bismuth grown and constrained against quartz as it grew. valued $400
