Item Description

A VERY RARE combination from this historic mine, most recently worked for uranium. Patches and blebs of gray native bismuth are noted on all sides of the sculptural matrix. Rich crusts of pastel-pink erythrite in association with the bismuth, especially on the front and one end are remarkable and noteworthy. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection, a noted Czech specialist. The two species in association from any Jachymov mine is EXTREMELY RARE. The piece was collected in the 1950s, during uranium mining.
