Item Description

The famous Kearsarge Mine produced some of the finest specimens from the famed Copper Country of Michigan and this is an outstanding CABINET example. A highly artistic cluster of sharp, intergrown, copper crystals with fine patina is elegantly and dramatically perched on a sculptural matrix of copper, green epidote and quartz. This is a very fine, complete all-around copper crystal cluster. Old-time, classic material from this historic locale. Ex Bob Lambert and Daniel Trinchillo Sr. Collections and comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $150 as a free bonus. This specimen is illustrated on Page 46 of the catalogue for the Heritage Natural History Auction in Dallas, Texas in January, 2009, which featured many pieces from the Trinchillo Collection. Valued at $2000-2500.
