Item Description
A sculptural, old-time silver specimen from Kongsberg. This flowing, molten-looking, sub-hedral piece is mostly burnished black by acanthite. BUT, a negative casted area where a sharp crystal once lay and another small area have drop-dead bright, colorful iridescence! Undoubtably old-time material. Ex Jack Jago Trelawney Collection (a very prominent California collector, 1909-2001) and John Ydren Collection. $40 was NOT cheap in 1964! Valued at $1000-1250.
