Item Description

A wonderful display specimen featuring a layer of pinkish-white radial aggregates of Natrolite with the largest "ball" measuring up to 3.7 cm across sitting on Phonolite matrix. The largest "ball" is certainly the largest I've ever seen from this locality, and is a very worthwhile piece to pick up for anybody who collects German minerals or worldwide Zeolites. Valued at $950 for the size, quality and aesthetics. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#4914). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
