Very fine example of the rare (Mn, Fe, Mg) hydrous silicate Neotocite. (certainly for Nchwaning, I have not even seen a piece before. The amorphous botryoids have superb luster and a pitch-black color, like tar. It looks very much like polished black obsidian but more vitreous. An interesting and attractive rarity from the extensive species sub-suite of miniatures in the Charlie Key collections
