Item Description

Old-time high grade, translucent green nephrite jade from this well-known California locale is RARE today and is seldom on the market. This is a partially polished, sculptural, two-sided, globular nodule with fine color and form. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 6210 and acquired from a jade dealer at the 1970 Federation Show in Pleasanton. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). Rare and highly desirable old California lapidary material. 51 grams mass.
