Gorgeous, gemmy, intensely purple, grape-like fluorite cuboctahedrons to 2.3 cm are richly and aesthetically scattered on the etched, CABINET quartz plate matrix on this SUPERB specimen from recent finds at the Wushan Mine, De An, China. The fluorite crystal faces appear to be step-faced, but in fact, are very lightly etched. Few specimens of this this quality have come out recently. This STRIKING specimen has many displayable views, which the photos highlight. As you can see, the former dealer label has a $1450 price on it.
