Item Description
Exquisite toenail of Olmiite from the famous Kalahari Manganese Fields of South Africa. There are two habits of Olmiite here: tan-colored prismatic crystals that are in radial clusters, and peach-colored translucent-gemmy crystals that are radial and in bowties. The largest of these bowties is at least 1.4 cm across. Either habit by itself is lovely, but it is very unusual, and quite aesthetic, to have them in combination. A terrific toenail.
