Item Description

An impressive 4.2 cm compound olmiite "ball" is dramatically set in a three-sided vug lined with scintillating tiny calcite rhombs on this very sculptural and aesthetic combination small cabinet from the new mid-2016 find from the famous N'Chwaning II Mine. Aptly named the Chocolate Pocket for the rich color. Olmiite specimens from here are a classic and desirable species. The densely intergrown orthorhombic crystals GLOW orangy-red when backlit. Complete all-around and pristine. A contact is noted on one side, but there is no damage, per se. A very fine, rich, fascinating and colorful combination small cabinet from the New Find.
