Item Description

A cute and nifty, intergrown ball of very glassy and gemmy, rose-brown to tan, elongated orthorhombic crystals of olmiite with two, small "wings" of olmiite from the NEW, Fall 2008 find at the famous Nchwaning II Mine of South Africa. This is an excellent example from this find and it really glows a beautiful rose-red with good light. Olmiite was formerly known as poldervaartite, prior to recent extensive testing.
