Item Description
Classic single crystal of highly lustrous cinammon Olmiite on matrix from the type locality, the famous Nchwaning II Mine in South Africa. The gemmy to translucent Olmiite has the blocky habit on one end, and it literally blossoms into the more spherical habit on the other end. Sitting on a small plate of matrix, it looks like dessert served up on a small wafer. A terrific thumbnail of this sought-after species.
