Item Description

Australia without question has been the top producer of Opals in the world for many years. The diversity of stones from various localities, often found in large color examples, is unmatched by any other nation. This piece is a beautiful "flower" carving of multi-color Crystal Opal showing virtually all colors of the rainbow when the piece is rotated in the light. It's a solid piece of Opal, and color can be seen on all sides. When backlit, you can see the piece is actually gemmy, with a warm light golden hue internally. Fine quality and highly colorful. Priced at $973.75 retail.
