Nodules of pretty multi-hued precious opal are richly and aesthetically scattered in the striking swirled rhyolite matrix on this showy and excellent polished egg from Mexico. Some of the nodules are quite gemmy and others are translucent. Some are also fluorescent, while others aren't. A sculptural and fine opal egg from an East Coast collection. 133 grams mass. The base is included.
