Item Description

Intergrown balls of creedite covered with gemmy, burnt-orange to colorless crystals from the recent find of August, 2009. The largest crystal is about 2.0 cm. Good creedites were rare and expensive from ANY locality, until these orange ones were found in Mexico. This is a striking and aesthetic specimen. Scattered broken crystals and contacting are noted, but certainly nothing to detraction. The creedite crystals in this find are generally larger and gemmier, than earlier finds. I especially like the way the small ball is attached to the large cluster. This showy piece has multiple fine display veiws. STRIKING.
