Item Description

A striking small cabinet specimen of a large pineapple-like ball of creedite attached to a small basal ball and covered with gemmy, light-orange to colorless crystals from the NEW find of August, 2009. The crystals reach 2.0 cm. Good creedites were rare and expensive from ANY locality, until these orange ones were found in Mexico. Suddenly, you could own a really fine creedite without selling your house to get it. This particular piece does have some broken crystals (mostly on the back), but is a modest detraction. The contacting on the base is out of sight. This is a very showy, puffball-like cluster of creedite crystals. The creedite crystals in this find are generally larger and gemmier, than earlier finds. STRIKING.
