Item Description

A GORGEOUS and VERY RARE small cabinet combination specimen of connected intergrown balls of orange creedite AND purple, teal and green fluorite! The balls are covered with gemmy, light-orange to colorless creedite crystals and the largest crystal, at 2.0 cm, is doubly terminated! The fluorite is an EXCEPTIONAL and RARE compliment to the creedite. Good creedites were rare and expensive from ANY locality, until these orange ones were found in Mexico. Suddenly, you could own a really fine creedite without selling your house to get it. Then, we heard that the mining was FINISHED, apparently for good. So if you do not have one, well, here is another chance. We were lucky enough to put some aside before the mining stopped. This is a beautiful and aesthetic specimen with very few broken crystals, for such a rich coverage. The is an EXCELLENT, near floater cluster of creedite, with only a few small points of attachment on the back and sides and at the fluorite cluster! This is a very showy, puffball-like cluster of creedite balls with the RARE associaton of fluorite. STRIKING.
