Orthoclase coated with Quartz (Mullane Coll.)

Item Description

Sharp, well-formed, orthoclase crystals to 3.3 cm coated with sugary drusy quartz are very aesthetically set on the matrix plate on this showy and excellent older specimen from the well-known Organ Mountains of New Mexico. You don't see this style around very often from this locality. Ex Mullane Collection and dates to the 1970s or earlier.
