Orthoserpierite, a rare complex hydrated Ca-Cu sulfate, is a member of the Devilline Group and is the orthorhombic polymorph of serpierite. Specimens from this obscure small Chile copper mine are VERY RARE. Vivid sky-blue tufts of tiny needles richly cover the gossan matrix on this most colorful and rare example.
