Item Description

Here we have an incredibly hard to find specimen of the calcium vanadate Pascoite from the Firefly-Pigmay Mine. Bright orange micro crystals can be seen parially covering the underlying matrix. We have photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. If you collect minerals of Utah, or simply rarities, you can't afford to miss out on this incredibly hard to find piece. This is honestly the first specimen of Pascoite that we have had to offer from this locality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#13007). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
