Item Description
Perovskite is an uncommon titanium oxide and this excellent specimen is from a noted and aptly-named California locale - Perovskite Peak and near the famous Dallas Gem Mine. Three splendent, intergrown, modified cubes measuring 1.0 cm across are aesthetically set on the serpentine matrix. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Specimens are very uncommon in this quality from here. The outcrop has been bulldozed away and is now extinct. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
