This showy and excellent large amethyst plate from the La Sirena Mine at Guanajuato, Mexico is distinctively different, than most you see from any other locality. The very pretty, glassy, lavender, amethyst crystals have nifty, slightly darker interior phantoms. Sharp, highly lustrous, pearlescent, calcite rhombs are peppered on the amethyst and are a colorful compliment. Fine material from this famous locale with very trivial bruising.
