Item Description

Pharmacolite is a rare hydrated arsenate. This showy, CABINET, old-timer features pretty lavender (colored by cobalt) tufted balls of pharmacolite to 5 mm nicely clustered in a vug atop sulfide matrix. This classic and historic specimen is from a VERY UNCOMMON for pharmacolite locality - Rubens Mine, Saxony, Germany. Comes with an old, faded label. The collection this came out of was a museum stash dating to prior to World War I. Valued $500. VERY RARE on the market. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
