Plume Agate

Item Description

This is a beautiful and unique gemmy Plume Agate cut gemstone from a 2021 discovery Indonesia. This stone has a "Round Cabochon" cut and features a nearly colorless interior which plays host to lovely almost "organic" looking golden or sandy colored "cloud" inclusions with little white accenting hues on the edges. Plume Agate gets its name from the patterns of mineral growths within the stones. The shapes of these inclusions can resemble feathers, flowers, flames, coral or trees in some cases. They can be in any color of the rainbow in my experience. Beautiful material and rarely seen in this quality.
