Item Description

Striking, numerous, densely banded malachite "eyes" dramatically stare at you on all sides of this very showy and excellent polished malachite nodule from one of the famous copper mines of the Kolwezi District. The characteristic dense banding on all sides and "eye" forms are remarkable on this sculptural and classic small cabinet from 1970s to 80s finds. 265 grams mass.
