It is not often that one sees a good crystallized Powellite (a solid solution series member with Scheelite) outside of India, but even less common to find a richly colored Powellite with STILBITE on matrix! This piece hosts a 2.3 cm sharp, light straw color, pseudo-octahedral crystal of Powellite associated with a pale peach colored blade of Stilbite measuring 2.4 cm sitting atop a radial spray of white to tan colored Scolecite. Once again, nowhere in the world does Powellite occur as well crystallized or as large as it does in India. Don't miss out on this one, as they are becoming hard to find on the market.
