Item Description

A 2.0 cm, sharp textbook, straw-yellow, dipyramidal, striated Powellite crystal is pleasingly set on the impressive, sculptural, large cluster of stout, intergrown gem to translucent, colorless, tetragonal apophyllite crystals with sharp pyramidal terminations with a few contrasting salmon-pink stilbite blades. The apophyllite crystals reach 5.5 cm (doubly terminated). This classic and excellent combination is from recent finds at Jalgaon. You have to look hard to find the one clean repair to the piece. Yellow SW and LW UV powellite fluorescence. Excellent combination material with a fine powellite crystal from Jalgaon. Such sharp crystals normally retail in excess of $1000 for anything of quality and size.
