Item Description

This Trap Rock locality is one of the most impressive (and under appreciated) Zeolite localities in the world. This quarry has produced some amazing specimens in the last 100 years. Prehnite is not a Zeolite species, but it is the most commonly associated mineral found with Zeolites in the New Jersey Trap Rocks. This particular specimen is an attractive "two handed" piece consisting of beautiful, translucent water green color, spheres of Prehnite sitting atop a layer of basalt. Virtually undamaged on the front. A great large cabinet display from this historic locality. Priced at $1200.
