Item Description

The Jeffrey Mine is obviously well-known for its amazing Grossular and Vesuvianite specimens, but it doesn't get enough credit for providing colletors with some attractive Prehnites as well. Most people are familiar with boytroidal or semi-spherical green Prehnite from various localities around the world, but the Jeffrey Prehnites are notably colorless / white and have actually formed in fine quality, prismatic euhedral crystals. This piece features sharp, prismatic, whitish crystals of Prehnite free of. The crystals have a mostly white color on the exterior, with a bit of translucency inside. No real damage that I can see. If you've ever wanted a nice little thumbnail display specimen of Jeffrey Prehnite, don't miss out on this one.
