Item Description

Luscious, translucent, rich mint-green bladed prehnite "fingers" and botryoids richly and aesthetically cover the large specimen from one of the famous Traprock quarries in the Paterson area. The isolated finger is 3.1 cm long. Most of the prehnite appears to be primary, but one end clearly shows a 1.3 cm long prehnite cast after a sharp, dissolved tabular anhydrite blade, adding pizzazz. Choice Paterson prehnite with exceptional color saturation. Valued at $500.
