Lustrous, translucent, sea-green, prehnite crystals richly cover the mounded matrix on this showy specimen from a well-known Italian locale in the Alps - the Miage Glacier. The crystals, to 1.8 cm, have the classic helmet-shaped form. A bit of bruising and periphery wear is noted, but is a modest detraction to this seldom available species from this locale.
